Doctor Who: The Forgotten #4

Doctor Who: The Forgotten #4 (IDW Publishing)
By Tony Lee, Kelly Yates & Nick Roche

The Doctor’s trip through his own past continues with visits to his sixth and seventh incarnations, even as he struggles to regain his memory in the present. His mysterious enemy makes the biggest play yet against him, while some questions about Martha Jones begin to arise. While I’ve enjoyed this series consistently, the flashbacks in this issue are two of the best yet. The Sixth Doctor has to defend his companion against a bizarre murder charge, and the Seventh finds himself embroiled in an alien war. There’s a lot of action and intrigue here, a bit of mystery, and some really strong art by Kelly Yates. This has been a wonderful miniseries, a great trip through the history of the good Doctor, and I’ll be looking forward to the last two stops.
